OUR STORY
Joseph Rossi founded Rossi Construction in 1985 after spending ten years running his older brother’s construction company. He ran the business on his own for 25 years, building a reputation one job and one referral at a time. In 2010 his son Jared joined after earning a four-year degree in Operations Management, and today they own the company together. Joseph handles estimating, permits and material orders. Jared handles scheduling and oversees every job. Both are still on site doing the work.
Over the years that work has grown from kitchens and bathrooms to additions, roofing and commercial projects, including new soffits on the eighth floor of Grace Apartments in downtown Providence from a 150-foot boom lift. What hasn’t changed is how we get our work: almost entirely by word of mouth, for over 40 years.

GET A CLEAR PLAN
You get a written estimate before anything starts. Payment is split into thirds, and we order custom materials early so your project stays on schedule.
OWNERS ON EVERY JOB
Joseph and Jared are on site with our crew, not just checking in. If we find something unexpected behind a wall, you hear about it right away.
FINAL WALKTHROUGH
We walk the finished job with you, make sure everything is right, and leave your home clean. Your final payment is due only once the work is complete.
REGISTERED & INSURED
Rossi Construction is a registered Rhode Island contractor, registration #5124, and carries a $2 million umbrella insurance policy. We pull every permit a project needs, which in Rhode Island covers almost everything. Our crew is four to five people led by Joseph and Jared. Plumbing and electrical work is done by our licensed subcontractors. For commercial properties, our J&D Restoration division handles repairs, apartment turnovers and capital improvements across Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Certificates of insurance are available on request.

From a single repair to a full renovation or a 150-foot boom lift job, every project gets the same attention, the same crew and the same care.
OUR OWN EQUIPMENT
We own our dumpsters and drying equipment, so there are no third-party delays or markups, and remediation costs less than at insurance-only companies.
